The Board of Chariot announces that the Company received formal notification on
17 April 2007 from Barclays PLC, on behalf of Barclays Stockbrokers Ltd, that,
as at 16 April 2007, they had an indirect interest in 4,816,194 ordinary shares
in the Company representing 6.79% of the voting rights of the Company.

The ordinary shares referred to above are the ordinary shares of 1 pence each in
the Company.
