                Board Appointment - Director of People & Quality

Reed Health Group plc, a provider of specialist staff and associated services to
the Social Care and Health sectors, is pleased to announce the appointment of
Jim Carter to the Board as Director of People & Quality with effect from 17
October 2005

Jim Carter, age 46, was previously HR Director of Serco Home Affairs Division.
He joined Serco in 1997, when the company was awarded the contract to run
Greater Manchester Metro and subsequently held a number of senior HR positions
focused on business improvement and change management within various
subsidiaries of the Group.  He is a CIPD member and was responsible for
co-ordinating Serco's input into the Institute for Public Policy Research on
Public Private Partnerships.

Trevor Goul-Wheeker, Chief Executive, commented:

People & Quality. Reed Health Group is wholly dependant on the quality of its
staff and candidates and must be a people first business. Jim Carter's extensive
experience of HR management, people development and outsourcing within public
services will bring critical additional skills into the Group."

The Company announced that it will be granting Jim Carter the option to acquire
#100,000 of ordinary shares of 2.0p under its Enterprise Management Incentive
Plan at an exercise price to be set within 14 days of his employment commencing
with the Company

Reed Health Group plc has received confirmation from Jim Carter that there are
no further details which need to be disclosed under paragraph 16.4 of the UKLA
Listing Rules.
