PR Newswire (US)
DALLAS, April 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Board of Directors
of BioTech Medics, Inc. (OTC Pink Sheets: BTMD) announced that the
company has signed an Engagement Letter with Moore and Associates,
Chartered Accountants of 2675 South Jones Blvd., Suite 109, Las
Vegas, Nevada 89146 ("Moore"). Moore has initially been retained as
BioTech's independent accountant for the compilation of the fiscal
year ending December 31, 2005 and first quarter of 2006. The
compilation is for the purpose of BioTech filing Form 211 with
issuer information and disclosure statements pursuant to Rule
15C2-11(A)(5) promulgated under the SECURITIES & EXCHANGE ACT
OF 1934, AS AMENDED, and is intended only as information to be used
by securities broker-dealers in compliance with NASD regulations.
Keith Houser, CEO of BioTech, stated: "We filed our Form 211 last
year with NASD, but the filing was not accepted as complete by NASD
as BioTech's Financial Statements were not 'compiled by an
accountant'. This year BioTech Medics, Inc. intends to file again
with 'compiled financial statements' by the Moore accounting firm.
Should the filing be accepted by NASD, BTMD will be eligible to be
quoted on the Pinksheets again. We subsequently will have the CPAs
complete our audit so that BTMD can be a fully reporting company."
Previously, BioTech had engaged the CPA firm of Bagell, Josephs and
Co, LLC of New Jersey. This CPA firm completed Corbel IRS Filings
through December, 2004. BioTech Medics is a distributor of the
NeuroLase Therapeutic Medical Laser, SHBAN Solution and operates
Pain Management & Wellness Centers. The Neurolase provides
non-invasive drug-free relief from muscular, skeletal and arthritic
pain. On the Web at: http://www.biotechmedics.com/ Contact: Keith
