SigmaTel Showcases Latest PMP Technology at Computex 2007

SigmaTel, Inc. (NASDAQ:SGTL) today announced it will be showcasing
its latest portable multimedia player (PMP) technology, the
STMP3700, at Computex in Taipei, June 5-9, 2007. The ARM-based, 90
nanometer, STMP3700 is a highly integrated PMP processor which will
enable customers to develop feature rich consumer products with
superior video and audio quality and industry leading battery life.
SigmaTel will also release a highly flexible Software Development
Kit (SDK) that allows OEMs to design differentiated PMPs with
custom user interfaces for the consumer electronics market. �The
3700 offers customers a comprehensive next generation PMP solution
with the highest level of integration, performance and lowest power
available in the industry today,� said Pat Kelly, Vice President

ramping production with our solution and consumers can expect to
see players on the shelves for the 2007 holiday shopping season.�
SigmaTel�s STMP3700 features include: Industry-standard 90nm, ARM

hours of video playback and 60 hours of audio playback using a
small 400mAh Lithium Ion battery. Popular video formats supported
by the STMP3700 include MPEG-4 (including Divx� and Xvid support),
H.264 and WMV at 30fps QVGA for robust video playback.
Additionally, the STMP3700 supports Microsoft PlaysForSure version
2.2x and Vista. The STMP3700 product family allows for the widest
range of NAND Flash solutions on the market and continuously adds
new flash technologies as they become available. General
availability of the complete family of 3700 products, the feature
rich software development tools and comprehensive line-up of
SigmaTel trained and certified design houses and ODMs, is scheduled
