Emergency Response, a business unit of Spartan Motors, Inc.

the Detroit Fire Department will
unveil five new fire apparatus on August 21,
2015, at 10 a.m., at the
Detroit Public Safety Headquarters. The new apparatus, built on
Spartan Emergency Response Cab/Chassis, will be ready for immediate
use by the Detroit Fire
Department.
In 2014, the City of Detroit
ordered 10 new fire apparatus, as part of its stepped up efforts to
upgrade and improve the Detroit
Fire Department's fire-fighting equipment and infrastructure. Five
of those new fire engines are already in service. The remaining
five were unveiled on August
21st.

protect the lives and property of the residents of Detroit," said Dan
