The Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance on Tuesday filed a list of candidates for the renewal of corporate bodies at a number of companies, including Enel SpA and Leonardo SpA.

At Enel, the ministry gave the green light to a third mandate for Francesco Starace as chief executive officer and picked Michele Alberto Fabiano Crisostomo as chairman of the board. The ministry holds a 23.58% stake in the Rome-based energy company.

For defense group Leonardo, in which it holds a 30.2% stake, the ministry mandated Alessandro Profumo for his second term in office as chief executive and Luciano Carta as chairman.
