Claro Brazil can drive sales and service interaction across
multiple channels using integrated sales, ordering and e-business
solutions ST. LOUIS, Jan. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Amdocs
(NYSE:DOX), the leading provider of customer experience systems,
today announced that Claro Brazil will deploy Amdocs to support
customer ordering, sales force automation, e-commerce and web
self-service. Claro is a leading mobile service provider in Brazil
and a wholly-owned subsidiary of America Movil. "In the
highly-penetrated Brazilian market, it is essential that we
continue to modernize our systems to remain competitive and satisfy
an increasingly sophisticated and Internet-savvy customer base,"
said Ricardo Santoro, chief information officer of Claro Brazil.
"Amdocs solutions deliver the complete picture of sales, ordering
and after-sales service across all channels and can enable Claro
Brazil to deliver the new, advanced services that customers want
more quickly, consistently and efficiently. Our customers will also
enjoy improved convenience and control through the new e-commerce
and web self-service offerings." Claro Brazil will deploy several
products from Amdocs' CES product portfolio to modernize and
standardize customer ordering, customer management, e-commerce, and
product catalog management. Amdocs products will support all of
Claro Brazil's current sales channels, including call centers,
dealerships and kiosks, and will also improve a new channel- the
Internet. With the deployment of Amdocs Self-Service products,
Claro Brazil will introduce e-commerce as a new service, thereby
extending its sales channel and reach, and increasing potential
revenue opportunities. Claro Brazil will also benefit from the
efficiencies gained by having one centralized system to manage and
update, which reduces errors and operational costs. This deployment
expands Amdocs' long-standing relationship with Claro which already
has Billing and Partner Relationship Management solutions from
Amdocs in production. Claro is a wholly-owned subsidiary of America
