The Republic of Angola, rated B3 by Moody's and B (stable) by Fitch, has mandated Goldman Sachs International as Global Coordinator and Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs International and ICBC as Joint Lead Managers and Bookrunners in respect of an up to U.S.$500 million tap issue of its existing U.S.$1,250,000,000 9.375% notes due 2048 (the "Initial 2048 Notes"), subject to market conditions. The new notes, if issued, will be consolidated and form a single series with the Initial 2048 Notes (Unrestricted ISIN: XS1819680528 and Restricted ISIN US035198AC46). The new notes, if issued, are expected to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's regulated market. FCA/ICMA stabilisation applies.
