Further to the announcement on 17 October 2006 that the Board of Chariot had
explored a number of proposals that may or may not have led to an offer for the
issued share capital of the Company, the Board of Chariot wishes to clarify that
these discussions, as stated in the announcement of 17 October 2006, have not
been successful and have been terminated.
