Evraz PLC said Friday that all of its nonexecutive directors have resigned with immediate effect.

The decision follows the suspension of the company's shares from trading and the inclusion of 29% shareholder Roman Abramovich in the latest U.K. government sanctions against Russian oligarchs.

The steelmaking and mining company said Chief Executive Aleksey Ivanov will continue as a director.
