                    Appointment of Non-executive Directors


The board of FutureFuel Corp. ("the Company") is pleased to announce the
appointment of Richard Lyle Knowlton and Paul Gary Lorenzini as independent,
non-executive Directors with effect from January 25, 2007. Mr. Knowlton and Mr.
Lorenzini are both esteemed leaders of their respective industries and the
Company is honored at the opportunity to benefit from their stewardship.


Mr. Knowlton, 74, joins our board after a devoted and prosperous career with
Hormel Food Corporation, a multinational manufacturer and marketer of food
products and consumer-branded meat based in Austin, Minnesota, USA. Mr. Knowlton
has held various positions within the corporation, culminating with his
appointment as the President and Chief Executive Officer in 1981, a position he
held until he retired in 1995. Since then he has served as Chairman.


Listed below are the names of companies of which Mr. Knowlton has held
directorships or partnerships at any time in the past five years:

    ING America Insurance Holdings, Inc. (Director, 2000-2005);
    SUPERVALU INC. (Director, 1994-2005);
    The Hormel Foundation (Chairman, since 1995);
    The Horatio Alger Association, Inc. (Director, since 1992; currently Chairman
    Emeritus);
    Univ. of CO Leeds School of Business (Director, since 2001);
    Mayo Laboratory Services Advisory Board (Director, since 2004); and
    Eisenhower Medical Center Board (Director, since 2004).


Mr. Lorenzini, 67, joins our board after a devoted and prosperous career in the
distribution industry. In 1970 he was a founder of Packaging Consultants Inc.
which was acquired by Bunzl PLC in 1983. Since 1986 Mr. Lorenzini acted as the
President of Bunzl USA and President and then CEO of Bunzl Distribution Inc.
Bunzl Distribution, based in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, is the largest division
of Bunzl PLC, an international distribution and outsourcing group headquartered
in London. Bunzl is presently the largest and most successful supplier of
supermarket and food service packaging in North America. Mr. Lorenzini retired
in 2004 and has since served as Chairman Emeritus.


Listed below are the names of companies of which Mr. Lorenzini has held
directorships and partnerships at any time in the past five years:

     Bunzl PLC (1983 to present);
     Bunzl Distribution Inc. (CEO & Chairman, 1986-2003);
     Bunzl USA (President, 1986 -2004);
     Bunzl PLC (Director 1999-2004); and
     Partner in CELLC, PSH, LGH, Whitehawk, KCMO, Westport Investment Group, 
     Ballpark
     Hilton KTAS & Warson Woods Partnership.


Save as disclosed above, there are no further details required to be announced
as required under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.


The Company's common stock is traded on AIM under the symbol FFU and its
warrants are traded on AIM under the symbol FFUW.
