                             Update re: Suspension

Nordic Energy PLC, a company focused on making investments in the North Sea oil
and gas sector, advises that, due to an administrative error with Nordic's
accounting reference date, the Company was suspended today for non-publication
of its final results.

The Directors confirm that the Company's accounting reference date is 31 May
and, accordingly, the Company will publish its final results to 31 May 2013 by
31 October 2013.

The Directors of the Company are responsible for the contents of this
announcement.
