                          Shareholding in the Company

South China Resources plc was notified on 18th December 2007 that Mr Clive Jones
(holding as trustee for the Alyse Investment Trust) had purchased 6,000,000
ordinary shares in the Company on 10th December 2007.


Following the purchase, Mr Clive Jones has an interest in 6,000,000 voting
rights in the Company, representing 3.71% of the total voting rights of the
Company.
