Tapestry Inc. (TPR) reported fourth-quarter same-store sales at Coach that beat analysts' expectations, though Kate Spade's sales dragged behind estimates.

Same-store sales at Coach, Tapestry's largest brand by sales and store count, rose 2%, boosted by global e-commerce sales. Analysts polled by Consensus Metrix expected a 1.6% increase for the brand.

Meanwhile, same-store sales at Kate Spade fell 6%, below analysts' forecasts of a 1.4% rise.

The company expects more modest sales growth at Kate Spade in North America in fiscal 2020.
