Petra Petroleum Inc. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: PTL) reports that it has granted a total of 340,000 stock options at the exercise price of $0.33 each to its directors, officers and employees. The stock options are granted pursuant to the Company's Stock Option Plan.

The Company continues to assess new properties and opportunities with an overall goal of growing the Company.
