FORT WORTH, Texas, Aug. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Alicia Hicks
has been named Vice President of Marketing at Calloway's
Nursery, Inc. (PK:CLWY), effective
August 5, 2014. Ms. Hicks formerly
served Calloway's in the position Director of Retail Marketing.

As Vice President of Marketing, Ms. Hicks will oversee marketing
for all aspects of Calloway's Nursery, Inc., which includes 17 Calloway's
Nursery locations in Dallas/Fort Worth, as well as two Cornelius
Nursery locations in Houston. Ms.
Hicks develops strategic marketing plans and customer experience
initiatives for both Calloway's and Cornelius brands across all
retail locations.
Ms. Hicks holds an MBA from TCU Neeley School of
Business. She has over twenty years of advertising and
marketing experience in Radio Broadcasting, including sales and
management positions at ABC Radio, a division of the Walt Disney
Corporation and CBS Radio.
Calloway's Nursery is a
19-store garden center chain serving both Dallas-Fort Worth (as Calloway's Nursery) and Houston (as Cornelius Nursery). Calloway's
Nursery, Inc. was named the 2013
Alumni Business of the Year, by TCU Neeley School of Business as
well as Merchandiser of the Year, by Lawn and Garden Retailer
Magazine. Most recently Calloway's received the Summit Award,
the highest recognition bestowed by the Texas Nursery &
Landscape Association.
