--Bayer has begun the search for a successor to Chief Executive
Officer Werner Baumann, Bloomberg reports, citing unnamed
sources.
--The German pharma-to-agrochemical giant is targeting naming a
new CEO by its April annual general meeting, according to
Bloomberg.
--Mr. Baumann has previously said he won't renew his contract
when it expires in April 2024, but it remains unclear whether he
will leave the job early, Bloomberg reports, citing the
sources.
--Shares rose as much as 3.4% on the news. At 1200 GMT shares
were up 1.7%.
