Reader's Digest Names Ben Madden Associate Publisher, Advertising
PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y., Oct. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Reader's
Digest today named Ben Madden Associate Publisher, Advertising. It
was announced by Christopher Lambiase, Vice President, Publisher.
Madden will join Reader's Digest on November 17, from SmartMoney,
where he was Associate Publisher. Madden will report to Lambiase.
As Associate Publisher, Madden will work with Chris Lambiase to
direct all day-to-day advertising sales activities for Reader's
Digest focusing on automotive, food, package goods and technology.

SmartMoney, Madden led successful page gains. Through September
2003, ad pages at SmartMoney are up 10.18%. Madden moved swiftly up
the ranks at SmartMoney holding positions as National Advertising
Director, Group Director, Integrated Sales and Marketing and
Account Manager. Prior to joining Smart Money, Madden held
positions at Bicycling Magazine and Reebok International. Reader's
