TC Energy Corp. (TRP.T, TRP) said it has returned its Keystone oil pipeline to service after federal regulators approved its repair and restart plan.

The company shut the pipeline down in late October after a leak led to the spill of about 9,120 barrels of oil in North Dakota.

The Calgary, Alberta, company said it will operate the pipeline at a reduced pressure as part of the restart plan, with a gradual increase in the volume of crude oil moving through the system.

TC Energy said it is working with federal and state regulators to investigate the cause of the spill and to analyze the damaged segment of pipe, which it has removed.
