Arena Leisure Plc ("Arena Leisure")

Arena Leisure announces that on Monday, 15 November 1999, it
sold the assets of Farringford Hotel, in the Isle of Wight,
for a cash consideration of #950,000.

The sale price represents a #139,000 premium (before sale
costs) to the book value of #811,000 (net asset value
#826,000), as at 30 September 1999.

The pre-tax profits associated with the assets sold were
#33,000 for the year ending 31 March 1999.

The consideration is being used to reduce the Company's
existing indebtedness.
