PROPOSED VOLUNTARY WINDING-UP OF Investec High Income Trust plc ("THE COMPANY") 
AND Investec High Income Securities plc ("THE SUBSIDIARY") 
 
On 25 February 2009 a circular was sent to shareholders in the Company and the 
Subsidiary outlining the proposals relating to the liquidation of the 
Companies. It has come to the Company's attention that the stated amount of 
cash held by the Company as at close of business on 19 February 2009, in 
paragraph 3 on page 6 of the Circular, is incorrect. The correct amount is GBP 
13,916,000. 
 
This correction does not affect the stated net assets of the Company, the 
estimated amount of the first cash distribution or the amount of the final 
interim dividend.
