Trading Update

Annual General Meeting Chairman's Trading Statement for the Half Year to the
30th June 2008

A difficult economic climate, low consumer confidence, and disappointing
weather through the early part of the current year, have all impacted
negatively on our trading performance. It is thus unlikely that the company
will achieve a much better than break-even position for the first six months of
2008.

Lord Lee of Trafford

Chairman
