US Ecology, Inc. (US Ecology), formerly American Ecology Corporation, incorporated in May 1987, through its subsidiaries, provides radioactive, hazardous, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) and non-hazardous industrial waste management and recycling services to commercial and government entities, such as refineries and chemical production facilities, manufacturers, electric utilities, steel mills, medical and academic institutions and waste broker/aggregators. The Company operates in two segments: Operating Disposal Facilities and Non-Operating Disposal Facilities. The Company’s wholly owned primary operating subsidiaries include US Ecology Nevada, Inc., US Ecology Washington, Inc., US Ecology Texas, Inc., US Ecology Idaho, Inc., US Ecology Field Services, Inc., US Ecology California, Inc., US Ecology Stablex Holdings, Inc., Stablex Canada Inc. (Stablex) and Gulfstream TLC Inc. On October 31, 2010, it acquired Stablex.
