Eni SpA said Monday that it has acquired a 100% interest and the operatorship in block 115/09 offshore central Vietnam from KrisEnergy Ltd.

The Italian oil-and-gas major said the acquisition was made through its subsidiary Eni Vietnam BV. The financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.

Eni currently operates five blocks located in the Song Hong and Phu Khanh basins offshore central Vietnam.
