Santiago, Chile, March 3, 2022 –Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile S.A. (SQM) (NYSE: SQM; Santiago Stock Exchange: SQM-B, SQM-A) received a letter from the Santiago Stock Exchange (“Bolsa de Comercio de Santiago”) today, requesting that SQM inform it about any special circumstances or relevant events that may explain the 12.17% increase in SQM’s series B share price today, with respect to the closing price as of Wednesday, March 2, 2022.

 

With respect to this matter, we can inform you that except for the publication of our financial statements yesterday and their subsequent distribution in the press, we are not aware of any other fact or event that could explain the variation in the share price.
